BIOGRAPHY

Originally from Madrid, Spain, Gloria Lorenzo is a Computer Engineer, expert in Globalization of Software Applications. She has worked in multiple technology companies like Corel Corporation, Lotus, Siebel Systems and now Oracle, across several countries like Italy, USA and Ireland. Currently she manages a team spread across 32 countries and is responsible for the Quality of all Language Products for Oracle.
In 2009 she started the Oracle Women’s Leadership program in Spain, to foster leadership for women at Oracle Spain. She was VP of Executive programs at the Federation Board of PWN Global, collaborating with several initiatives across Europe to promote women. She is currently the Vice-Chair of the Spanish Delegation for the Global Summit of Women.
She is also a mentor and investor of several Startup Companies in Spain, focusing on helping young people and entrepreneurs to transform our society using technology. In 2018 she was part of the founding team of WA4STEAM, a group of Women Business Angels that support startups lead by women and focused on STEAM projects.
