Marta Gálvez-Cañero is currently the Academic Manager at Aliter – International Business School. She is also responsible of the EU Projects and Entrepreneur Support Departments, with special attention to women, biotech and nanotech entrepreneurs. She has boosted the Women and Leadership Programme since its inception in 2007 and to the present, she has helped to foster and promote the professional and personal careers. of more than 1.000 professional women. She also teaches about EU Funding – H2020 and Effective Presentations.
Ms. Gálvez-Cañero has been working in top professional firms since she was graduated in Law by the “Universidad Complutense” of Madrid-Spain in 1998 (Mapfre Insurance, IVC Strategic Consulting Group, Leche Pascual Group). She has a Master in International Relations and Foreign Trade by Viviendi Group and currently is finalizing a Master of Management of Technology Companies by La Salle International Graduate School. She was awarded with a scholarship granted by Rafael del Pino Foundation to attend the first edition of the Women and Leadership Programme. In addition, she was given the Silver Medal of the Daughters of the American Revolution in 2003.
Ms. Gálvez-Cañero was also a founder partner of AMYL – Asociación de Mujer y Liderazgo (Women and Leadership Association) being currently it’s President. She is also founding partner of Darwinians Design, www.darwiniansradiobike.com/, www.alleycatsneakers.com/ and www.wentels.com .
She is very interested in the currently Digital Transformation and very concerned about the incorporation into the workplace of the “Ninis” (Youth who neither attend school nor have jobs) and people over 50 years. She is a strong supporter of “that where there is a will there is a way“, the humanism it is her philosophy and people her passion.
She is married with no children but she loves all the elderly people of her family.
