Rita Gasalla is the CEO of Galöw, a firm that she founded in 2000 in Spain focused on the transformative concept of wellbeing architecture. She is an architect and interior designer, and for more than 20 years she has created personalized spaces, both professional and residential, in which she prints her commitment to the well-being of people.
She studied at the School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and has a Postgraduate in Urban Planning at the Galician School of Public Administration. She is also certified as BIM designer.
Through Galöw, Rita has developed projects for the luxury hotel sector, different companies and private clients in the United States, Luxembourg, Morocco, Portugal, Panama, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Andorra, and also in different cities of Spain. Her designs and projects, that have given her wide recognition, are based on the concepts of wellbeing architecture, innovation, efficient luxury and sustainability.
In 2014, she co-founded Verve A&D, based in Palo Alto, California, a company focused on leading the incorporation of new technologies and innovative materials in the design, seeking to care for the health of users and achieve highly energy efficient buildings.
Currently, she is co-president of the Ellevate Network Madrid Chapter, a worldwide network of professional women with headquarters in New York. From Ellevate, Rita works to promote excellence and business competitiveness of women. In addition, she is a partner of WA4STEAM, an international community of women investors who seek to increase the presence of women entrepreneurs in the STEAM fields.
