BIOGRAPHY

Originally from Madrid, Spain, Gloria Lorenzo is a Computer Engineer, expert in Localisation and Internationalisation of Software Applications. She has worked in multiple technology companies like Corel Corporation, Lotus, Siebel Systems and now Oracle, across several countries like Italy, USA and Ireland. Currently she manages a team spread across 32 countries responsible of Quality of all Language Products for Oracle.
In 2009 she started the Oracle Women’s Leadership program in Spain, to foster leadership for women at Oracle Spain. She has been a member of the Federation Board for PWN Global, collaborating with several initiatives across Europe to promote women. She is currently the Vice-Chair of the Spanish Delegation for the Global Summit of Women.
She is also a mentor and investor of several Startup Companies like JugoPlay, Exovite, Zenks and Proximus, focusing on helping young people and entrepreneurs to transform our society using technology.
